I think in this section it is best if I give you a little background about myself and explain to you my work ethic or code of practice. I feel that if you are going to invite me into your home or business to carry out some work you need to know a little about me. From the initial contact, through whatever medium you use be it the telephone, email or a recommendation from a friend, I try to make your experience as stress free as possible. I will listen to your query and then arrange to meet you at a time that is convenient for you . Nowadays everyone has hectic schedules with commuting, work, collecting children from the minders etc. so I try to meet initially in the evening. This is where I will record all the details of the work required and depending on the size of the job I will prepare a written quotation within three to five days. I will also give you an idea of how long the job will take to complete and a starting date.
I work to the principal of best practice which nowadays may be looked upon as a little old fashioned but it is better to measure twice and cut once, I think you will agree. I try to place very few demands on my customers to ensure they undergo as little disruption to their lives as possible i.e. I work very neatly leaving the work area clean, tidied and all tools away before I leave in the evenings. I also provide all materials if required and removal of all waste materials (for a small fee) for your added convenience. I pride myself on the service I offer to my customers and I believe that communication is very important. I am not afraid of criticism and I have no problem in people pointing out anything they may be concerned about. This enables me to attain the high standards I set myself. I encourage feedback from my customers and will regularly check with them to ensure they are totally satisfied. In the event that there is any problem I will provide the solution as promptly as possible to your total satisfaction.
