I would highly recomennd him to do anyone that is thinking of decorating their homes in the future. " As you can see in the beginning my garden was a mess. I got Johns number on my way home as i drove past his van. John assesed the work and said he would bring my garden back to life. I hired John to tile my kitchen floor. Its a very old house and had lino on the floor for many years and in my mothers time marley tiles. John took on the job and I went away with my husband to Lourdes for a week.Unaware of the major job taking place back home.I called to a neighbor who had been feeding our cat and she said to me your kitchen is amazing.When I walked in the door I was taken back with the absolute beauty and craftmanship of my new floor..I am absolutely delighted with all his hard work, taking up of the old tiles, the worktop alteration and press door alteration and the fact there was no cleaning up to do made the whole thing outstanding..The centre piece really put a lovely finish to the floor and I couldnt be any more satisfied with Johns work..Thank you <...... I am delighted to add a testimonial to Johns page. I came across Johns website when I was searching for someone to help me with my kitchen (see gallery) and I was very impressed from the outset. He called around and was so helpful, offering me many ideas and advice as my kitchen was in an extremely poor state. I needed a lot of work done from the old kitchen removed, new sockets installed, wallpaper stripped, plumbing, the walls all had to be skimmed and painted, new lighting. He also laid a beautiful walnut wooden floor. John is a very hardworking man who is very reasonably priced and carried out the work to the highest standard. I am truly delighted with the final finish on my new kitchen. I contacted John through his internet site to paint the living room, kitchen and also the woodwork - banisters, doors and kitchen cabinets. He also did tiling. He arrived at the appointed time and did a lovely job. I contacted him again to do some small jobs for me - hanging pictures etc. I found him reliable and got the job done. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to any friends who want jobs done.

I work for IDT Global in London (office in Dublin) and found John on the internet. Reliable, friendly and VERY hard working. I am a landlord with a property in Dublin and living in Limerick. Having someone to handle jobs that are varied and sometimes small is very important to me. I have used Johns services a number of times and I have been really happy with everything. He responds promptly and carries out the work quickly and efficiently. I find he is able to deal with tenants directly if necessary which can be a help if you are located a distance away. I would be happy to recommend John to homeowners or landlords who are very unhandy in the handyman department!! Elaine Kelly Limerick

Just a note to say how delighted I am with the service you provided. I had a whole list of things that needed to be done in my home. "John has been working for me now since September 2006. I needed some one to take care of my properties.Some of my buildings are over one hundred years old and set out into bedsits.It is great to have someone of Johns expertise to call on.Some of the work he has undertaken for me :repaired and replaced electric showers,replaced locks,fixed thermostat in fridge,replaced ceiling in flat,tiling,repaired leaking shower tray,replaced water tank in attic,painting and decorating,plaster repairs,replaced spindles in bannister's etc.I find Johns Handyman services invaluable and I can not recommend him highly enough"

I got johnthehandyman.ie to paint my hall, stairs and landing. The landing was a particularly difficult job as it is quite high and very awkward to reach.
John did a fantastic job, supplied the paint, prepared the walls and completed the job to a very high standard.
I used to paint and decorate myself, but after getting johnthehandyman.ie to do some work I think I will be giving him a call when the next room needs doing.
I would highly recommend johnthehandyman.ie to all my friends and family.

"Tried three plumbers to fix tap for my elderly mam one even came out looked at the job and left saying he needed to get parts and failed to return.John came out on Christmas eve and sorted it for me. It was one of those difficult jobs nobody wanted to do.Great to get your number as we have loads more jobs in the summer"

Hi John,Just to say thanks a million for all the hard work,the place looks great.I`m getting loads of comments on the new look`it`s amazing how a coat of paint can really give the house a lift.I will definitely give you a shout next year when I am painting the downstairs of the house.
